LC AIESEC Minsk core programmes:
AIESEC operates by identifying key solutions to some of the aspects of the current world problems and then works towards implementing these solutions. These "focus areas" relate to what areas AIESEC is best able to contribute and by no means represent the full solutions.
Presently, AIESEC has it's Global Theme and five global focus areas which relate to programmes and projects being run around the world and are supported directly by AIESEC International.
The Global Theme is Interdependence - Learning & Acting for a Shared Future and will run from 1996-2000.

The international exchange of people has been part of AIESEC's activities since it was founded. The International Traineeship Exchange Programme is AIESEC's largest exchange programme, however many other programmes exist to fit different opportunities and many exciting new ones are starting up.
The common focus of AIESEC's exchange programmes and projects is the development of people who have the skills, knowledge, attitudes, values, social responsibility, etc. needed to build a better world: 21st Century Citizens.
AIESEC's exchange opportunities are characterized by being:
Each person exchanged is expected to not only to do the job they were matched to, but also to participate in cultural learning, be a cultural ambassador of their country, contribute to the objectives of the programme or project in which they are participating, etc.
