When climbing trees,
never be satisfied with the lowest limb.
However, bear in mind
that most firemen have better things to do
than get cats out of trees.
If you get stuck,
you’re pretty much on you own.
(A Cat’s Little Instruction Book by Leigh W. Rutledge)

Hello!

I am Valentina SIDOROVA.

I am a teacher of English as a foreign language at a university. In addition to English I speak French and Spanish, but prefer to write in English.

Foreign languages for me is not only a profession, but a life style. I believe, that via foreign languages we can learn the souls of other peoples and thus enrich the souls of our own.

I am Belarusian and live in Minsk, the capital of Belarus (CIS).

Working as an interpreter I got to know people of different walks of life from about 50 countries. Some of them have become and will remain my friends forever. The conventional means of communication did not allow to keep in touch with many of them. But now it is different! I hope that Internet will bring me news about my old friends. New friends are also welcome.

My fields of interest are:
. Business.
. Teaching EFL & ESL.
. Life in General.

To my old friends:

Dear mine,
Although we have lost the sight of each other,
I remember you and would love to hear from you,
to learn about your present life. Don’t hesitate to
drop me a message just now.
Yours,
Valentina
