How the stripper operates
The moving fingers of the feeder incline a plant towards the stripping
conveyer.
The conveyer teeth move bottom-up at a high speed striping stalks,
tearing away heads and throwing them into a trough.
The auger moves the stripped plants, separates the biologically valuable
grain, cleans it and feeds it to the hopper.
The separated plants are conveyed to the inclined chamber of the combine
to be thrashed.
