root.
Mother gives birth to a child, motherland gives birth to a nation.
As we love and respect our mother, so we should love and respect our mother-earth,
which is the only one as all. What shall we leave behind ourselves?
Belarus has suffered a lot. Continuous rivalry between the East and
the West in the past turned its territory into a battle field. Its people
always had to fight for its identity and belief. Now it suffers from radioactive
contamination and pollution, from irrational use of natural resources by
man.
