Vladimir SCHELKUN's personal HOME PAGE
I am Vladimir Schelkun, an artist, age - 39.
Hobbies: travelling, skiing, swimming.
I work as an instructor at an arts school for
children in Minsk.
My wife Liudmila is an aerobics coach, and a
translator.
She likes singing.
My daugter Anna is 11 years old, she is handicapped
since childhood.
I would define my art as "Dream-art".
"Not man, but his relations with the world,
Not events, but associations evoked by them
are his motives for creativity" (L.Finkelstein,
art critic).
My works are at various exhibitions since 1984.
Besides a number of exhibitions in Minsk, Belarus,
I participated in exhibitions in Poland.
My works may be found in private collections
and galleries in Germany, Poland, Italy and Czhekia.
Other
part of my work is teaching of children that I devoted already 17 years.
Specific character of my studio is teaching of
little child’s from 3-4 years old.
My pupils pietures were exhibited in 40 countries
of the world.
After 1990 with help of a Orthodox Church I am
arganizing a charitable exhibitions of my studio in Germany in common with
"Children to children of Chernobyl" were in many Germany towns.
