Color conception for Centre of reabilitation
of children from Chernobyl`s zone
"Nadejda - XXI c."
The aim of our work is a colour conception for the center of rehabilitation
for children from Chernobyl's zone, which name is "Nadejda".
This complex is an important integral part of the natural environment and
landscape, which means that it actively participates in creating the colour
ambiance. That why we have to think about "Nadejda"'s colour
environmental conception as an integral result of the quantitative, qualitative
and structural interaction of the spatial components, colour and light
characteristics.
Here each architectural, constructive, technological or "gestalt"
element of exterior design has its own form and size, texture and material
features, spatial disposition and function, which all define specific requirements
of colour treatment. Therewith we have defined so far an understanding
of colour conception of this area as a dynamyc system; it proves to be
an usefull tool for a systematic design approach.
Our colour design process might be considered as a process of constant
modeling of the colour characteristics and elements of the environment.
The most important stages might be summered up in the three main ways:
- analysis;
- modeling, with respect to the different factors and bonds in order
to define the colour features of each element;
- discussions and final choice of materials, colour-bearers,
methods and techniques of the colouring.
