Despite of rather short term of our existence we have held expertise of more than 50 projects, many of them – for the foreign companies that are interested in getting the expertise of a non-governmental organisation that is the resident of the country where they want to work. One of our last projects was the project of modernisation of Belarusian Steel Works by the Austrian credit line. The institute have got the right to execute the expertise of the project in a tender competition with a number of foreign firms.

1. Belarusian metal works. The factory is one of the basic exporters of republic and gives significant currency receipts. The project included reconstruction and modernisation of manufacturing process of cord and cord wire, cast preparation, etc. Financing of the project is carried out within the framework of the Austrian demand line of credit.

Initial cost of the project was estimated to be about USD 65 mln. During the work at the project marketing researches of conditions and dynamics of development of the world market under the nomenclature of goods produced and possible for the manufacturing by the factory were carried out.

As a result of the works executed, which were held within nine months, final cost of the project was reduced.

2. Industrial association "NAFTAN" (Novopolotsk). The enterprise is, the conducting, oil-refinery in the republic with rated power up to 24 mln. tons of oil a year., The available nomenclature of production includes more than 80 positions.

The project provided construction own CGTI (cogenerative gaze-turbine installation) for the production of the electric power and steam for the factory's own needs. Cost of the project - about USD 18 mln. The project is done to be either self-financed and by the attracted bank resources.

As a result of development of the project the activity of the enterprise for past three years was investigated, the tendencies of its development where established, the competitive position was investigated.

By results of the work performed the management of ON "Naftan" has counted possible to address to the services of our institute once again to prepare the feasibility report of more serious project, which has huge importance for economy of the republic - "Construction Of a Complex Of Deep Processing Of Oil" with the capacity up to 9 mln. tons of petroleum a year. Rough minimal cost of the project - USD 200 mln. The financing of the project is not finally certain, however, more probably, for its realisations own resources of the enterprise, credits of international credit lines, commodity credits, additional joint-stock capital, budget financing by tax privileges will be used.

Within the framework of work at the project the analysis of the world market of raw material - oil, dynamics the prices for it, trade policy of interstate organisations (OPEC, OECD), conditions and prospects of activity of the oil-producing companies, opportunities for construction of additional transport pipelines will be carried out. The separate block of works includes a choice of technical process of the technological equipment used, licenses, necessity of attraction of foreign contractors for erection of a complex etc.

3. "InterPET" Ltd. (Grodno). Organisation of financing on conditions of international leasing of production of PET bottles. Volume of financing of the project - more than USD 3 mln.

As a result of work above the project the market of initial raw material for manufacture - Polyethyleneperfolat, which exclusive manufacturer in the republic is Mogilyov ON "Chimvolokno" was analysed. A choice of the optimal processing equipment, allowing for account of significant power-economy to hold on the leadership strategy on the producers and suppliers market also is carried out.

4. Factory of artificial fibre (Mogilyov). The project provides organisation of manufacture of Polypropylene film for use in packing industry. Total cost of all stages of the project - USD 28 mln. The project is to be financed at the expense of partial bank crediting.

5. Mogilyov automobile factory. The project of organisation of manufacture of new kinds of specialised automobiles (tunnel lorry convoys, quarry engineering etc.) The project is to be financed at a rate of about USD 2.5 mln within four years.

As a result of work at the project the research of the export markets of a factory (existing and potential), solvency of its basic buyers, stability of the project to the various financial schemes of its realisation, the position of the enterprise in the market in relation to basic competitors were carried out

6. Joint-stock company "Ivacevichdrev" - Project of organisation on the basis of working Ivacevichi wood-dressing combinat manufacturing laminated woodchip plates. The project is financed in framework of the German credit line (DM 3.5 mln.) under a bank guarantee of the government of the Republics of Belarus.

While working at the project the basic buyers of the enterprise, their reputation, presence and validity of the made contracts on realisation of made production, global tendencies in manufacture of furniture and materials, used for it were investigated.

7. Mogilyov factory "Transhmash". The project provides financing at a rate of about USD 1 mln. for the account of the bank credit with the purpose of organisation of manufacture of refrigerators and isothermal vans (up to 700 units per one year) for realising them in the markets of the countries of a CIS.

The choice of the process equipment was carried out, the activity and reputation of the dealers of a factory on the basic markets of selling of production, assumed to manufacture were investigated

8. Joint Belarusian-American enterprise "Minskintercaps" (Minsk) - organisation of manufacturing of medical preparations in soft and firm gelatine capsules.

Under the orders of the bank, serving the given enterprise the institute has carried out, study of an opportunity and expediency of granting to it an additional turnaround means under expansion of the nomenclature of production made.

The activity of the enterprise from the date of its formation (1994), established practice of mutual relation with the creditors, the suppliers and buyers, were investigated.

Market research of the market of medical preparations in republic and in the near-by states.

9. Joint Belarusian-American-Canadian enterprise "Besser-Belarus" - organisation of manufacture of construction materials (wall materials, pavement plate, parapet stone) with the method of dry vibropressing with the use of the equipment and technology of the "Besser" company. Cost of the project is about USD 3 mln.

For the period of operations of the institute it has executed more than 50 projects. To a number of the clients the institute rendered consultations on preparation of tender documents for privatisation of the state enterprises (in concrete industry, telecommunications). Besides set forth above, were carried out projects in the following areas: meat and milk processing, manufacture of footwear, manufacture of medical preparations, manufacture of food products, manufacture of building materials, processing of agricultural production, construction of buildings, manufacture of soft and alcoholic drinks, processing fish etc.

In each particular case the analysis of activity of the enterprise - initiator of the project : his credit status, business reputation, dynamics of work for last years is made. Then the analysis of the administrative team, which is called to realise the project, for which realisation is financing is being found will be carried out. With use of various techniques in case of necessity the optimisation of administrative structure of the existing enterprise, or its construction on, the forming enterprise is made.

In process of the financial analysis of the project the optimum circuit and structure of its financing is chosen taking into account a real opportunity both creditors, and borrowers involved in the project. The analysis and distribution of project risks accompanying all stages of its realisations is made.
