As it has become known to editorial staff of "Vecherny Minsk" ( and not only to us ), the two-year trial upon the local Russian-speaking newspaper "Kurier" was finished in the Federal circuit court of New-York. This newspaper delt with illicit reprinting from the Russian press.

According to the decision of the trial, a fine of 500 000 dollars was imposed on "Kurier". Besides, this edition had to pay all costs.

Such is the charge for dishonourableness on the information market.

We inform everybody who has reprinted the information from the electronic variant of "Vecherny Minsk", that for the use of it in these purposes it's necessary to transfer money to the editorial stuff's settlement account on the 11st of every month for previous month, 1997 at latest. See "Conditions of Reprinting".

Even those, who have reprinted small amounts of our information - at insignificant sum, have to settle accounts with the editorial staff of "Vecherny Minsk" before the 11st of April. Otherwise, reprinting will be considered illicit.
