1. The Fair Sex is Uniting. 27.01.97.

One more woman's organization- the republican social society " The Social Initiative" has been registeres in Ministry of Justice of Belarus. Its founders are women from Minsk, Gomel, Grodno, Lida, Mogilyov, Bobruisk, and Brest, who work at industrial enterprises and are the members of Byelorussian Independent Association of Industrial Trade Unions.

The fair sex representatives of the enterprises of largest cities of the Republic has united to defend their rights and the rights of their children,- mentioned the leader of this organization Larisa Sekatskaya. The representatives of the organization are going to support initiatives of other organizations, the public and trade unions for legal, social and economical status of the woman-mother, the child and the family, to co-operate with social societies of Belarus and other countries, to take part in the projects and programs which solve woman's social problems.

In 1997 the joint-stock company "Simons" supposes to reach one milliard German marks turnover in the markets of the countries of the former USSR. It is interesting , that in 1996 the whole volume of company's orders already reached 100 milliard German marks. The volumes in Germany itself are falling, and outside the country they are increasing. That is why one of the main tasks of the joint-stock company is to increase siting of manufactures abroad.

In the beginning of year 1996 Ministry of External Economic Links of the Republic of Belarus and "Simens" signed the agreement about realization of the whole number of joint projects. And now byelorussian Ministries of Communications and Information Service,of Internal Affairs, Architecture and Building, Public Health, Customs Committee and Central Administrative Board of Frontier Troops are working over these projects.

As it is known, the period from 1995 to 2004 has been declared the Decade of Education in the field of human rights by the General Assembly of the United Nation. In this connection the National Coordinative Centure attached to Ministry of Education and Science of Belarus has been founded for cooperation of different arrangements on the national level.

Its main tasks are revealing of national needs in the field of education on the question of human rights, working out of national plans of actions providing coordination with regional and international bodies and also handing-in of reports to the Supreme Commissar on human rights.

Selfimproving from a health point of view and accustoming to a healthy way of life - spiritualness, general physical training, hardening, running, tourism and rational nourishment - such is a motto of members of the republican school "Optimalist". In the basis of its activity is a gradual hardening of the body.

Questions of the further development of cooperation were discussed during the meeting in the Constitutional Court of Belarus with the representatives of American Association of Lawyers in our country headed by Stiven Labensky.

Composition of the Constitutional Court was actually formed in accordance with a new wording of the Main Law on an equal footing with President of the country and Council of National Meeting.

As the correspondent of BelTA was informed in the press- center of the Constitutional Court, the chairman of the Court Grigory Vasilevich informed American lawyers about a legal status of the Court, principles of its creating and its composition. Special attention was paid to problems of guaranteeing of rights and liberties of citizens.

As a matter of fact the time is not far off when a luxurious hotel which corresponds a european level will appear in Minsk. Its comfort is valued in five stars. And to erect this object the French firm "BUIG" has contracted. It has already worked out a project and discussed its proposals about its carrying out during the talks in Ministry of External Economical Links.

According to the words of Tyerro Pezo, the representative of the firm, a new 12-stored hotel rates at 200 rooms. The square of each is 32-34 square metres. It will consist two restaurants, a bar, a health hall, a swimming pool, business hall and other rooms, typical for hotels of a such class.
