An Accusation is Brought Against Tamara Vinnikova.
Against the former chairwoman of the board of directors
of National Bank of Belarus, Tamara Vinnikova,
an official accusation was brought. She was detained by rightdefending
bodies on the 14th of January on suspicion about committing malfeasance
and doing damage to the state on a large scale.
The accusation is brought by Office of Publik Prosecutor
according to article 167 part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of
Belarus (exceeding authority or official commission by a person who holds
a responsible post and the result of that is damage to the state interests
on a large scale).
Vinnikova is arrested. Office of Public Prosecutor refrains
from commentaries about this criminal case in the interests of investigation.
But it has become known from competent sources that according to only one
of these episodes of T.Vinnikova's anti-right activity she is charged with
doing damage to the state for many milliards of roubles.
