Forum of Belarusians of the World.

The second congress of Belarusians of the world finished its work yesterday in Minsk.

The delegations of the Belarusian communities of Poland,Lithuania,Ukraine,Russia,Kazahstan,

France,Australia and of many other countries took part in its work.Unlike the first congress delegates paid for their own travel expenses.It took place in the Musical Comedy Theater

However,the situation before the congress was more like a tragicomedy.

The problem of fire insurance was to be sold for some unknown reasons. But finally the organizer of the congress which is cultural and education organization Batskaushchyna obtained an agreement to use the Theater hall.

The theme of the congress ,,Preservation of the Belarusian presence in the world ,, concerned not only the creative intelligentsia but also many political figures who were the guests of the congress.
