Minsk -Taibei: let interpreters have a rest...

The grand opening of the exhibition of Taiwan artist,doctor Hyang-nana in the National Art museum of Belarus was preceded by a party organized on the occasion of arriving of Taiwan delegation in Minsk. The organizer is the fund of economic and cultural cooperation between Minsk and Taibei (Taiwan)- TaiMin fund.

'Minsk and Taibei become closely connected by the traditions of friendship and hospitality' - said vice-president of the fund Alexander Chebotarevskii, '- Art and culture is the bridge which helps us to learn each other better. The present visit of the delegation to Minsk is symbolic as it precedes the Days of Taiwan in Minsk which is going to take place this autumn. The exhibition of the works of professor Huang Kuan-nana a famous Taiwan artist who also manages the largest historical museum has a little prehistory .The negotiations about its organization began long ago during the visit Jurii Karachun director of the National Art museum to Taiwain.Though the real art doesn't know any limits the distance between Balarus and Taiwan some time prevented this event. But recently Belarusian capital supported by Taiwan Fund and Taiwan commercial and economical mission in Minsk opened the halls of the museum for the water-colors of Taibei artist....Tiny chickens in the light against the black background of the walls ,an exotic bird in the stripe of light against the black background with some Chinese symbols ,more birds , more light coming from above as if dividing the world into day and night,-- all this is the works of Huang Kuang-nana.

Before the grand opening of the exhibition the first guests observed quite an exotic situation. The words of Taiwan artist first were interpreted into English by the head of Taibei Mission then from English into Russian by an interpreter .Later the artist invited everybody to the exposition where no interpreters were needed . They could have a rest .
