Sympathy in German .
Every German city has its
architectural symbol .For Berlin it's Branderbourg gates
and Reichstag, for Koln it's the world famous church, and
for a small German city Mannheim where the 9th
International Shiller festival took place it's an old
water-tower. A fountain nearby is a splendid sight
especially in the evenings when son at lumiere is on. The
participant of
mentioned above prestigious European festival which is a
troupe of Russian Academy theater of Belarus lived in
front of this tower .The performances took place in the
'Berghouse' on one of three stages of Mannheim National
theater.
How did Belarusians find
themselves in Mannheim? They were chosen out of many
European theaters including the theaters of CIS which had
Shiller`s plays in their repertoire .It should be
noticed that only Belarusians were invited and how it
turned out not in vain. Our actors brought the audience
on its feet and that was the way of showing the greatest
sympathy to the cast .
