"Ford Transit" Of Quick Reaction. (6 November,1997)

A demonstration of the first Belarusian vans "Ford-Transit" and the cars "Ford-Escort" for representatives of the Belarusian militarized fire service took place at the factory "Ford-Union" in Obchak in Minsk region. The representatives of the joint venture " Lada OMC "were also present. They showed the first ambulance made on the basis of a "Ford Transit".

The sides that were present at the demonstration exchanged their opinions and talked over the initial stages of the development and producing of quick reaction cars, based upon «Ford Transit» for the Belarusian fire services . The cars  are supposed to be used for extinguishing and carrying out the prime salvage and rescuing work at small centers of inflamation.

Fire services have already obtained certain experience in developing and completing sets of these cars." Lada OMC" took into consideraition their wishes and promised to create first samples of quick reaction cars, and equip them with modern means of fire extinguishing.

Thus, soon after first Belarusian ambulances have been released by« Lada OMC», its  very likely for first fire engines to appear.
