Foundation of Free Economic Zone in the capital of Belarus and solving of connected with it problems were being discussed at a press-conference taken place in Minsk Executive Committee.

Minsk Executive Committee Vice-chairman N.Pazkevich has noticed that the idea of foundation of Free Economic Zone in Minsk was born in the beginning of last year on the basis of extending analysis of the city economic state. Nowadays it is being practically carried out with the object of the most complete use of our scientific-technical potential, attraction of investments, making all conditions tens of enterprises to have got the second life as the matter of fact, started to work hard.

Free Zone Project documentation has been theoretically developed and given to coordinate with the Ministry Council, Ministry Institutes and Departments. There is a reason to suppose that it will be supported this year.

The director of private joint-stock company "Agency of Development of Free Economic Zone "Minsk", N.Czedrik, has showed journalists a plane-table with districts and this zone boundaries mentioned. It will be arranged in Eastern part of ring road including the great industrial bend Shabany, Obchak with Ford Union Plant and the plant "Radian" in Sosny and the nearest territory to the airport "Minsk 2"? all in all 1390 hectares.

It was emphasized that without exception all potential investors are in equal conditions.
