Official sources remark that during negotiations with the Prime Deputy of the Minister of the National Defense of the Republic of Poland mister Andrea Karkoshko the questions on bilateral military cooperation, European and regional security were discussed.

In the conclusion an agreement between war Departments of two countries on sharing the airlines and military aircraft’s was signed.

Also there were under consideration the aerial communications of both countries and the Decree on the interconnections in a military field.

On the 1 January 1997 there were 182.480 registered unemployed in Belarus, by the 1 April this index had decreased up to 177.965.

The total unemployment rate of capable working population amounts to 3,2 %.

Analysis shows the lowest rate of unemployment in the city of Minsk -1,9 %. The Gomel region accounts the highest rate of unemployment -4,1 %.
