News from the custom

On the 25th of January in the carriage of the train "Moscow-Warsaw" Brest custom officers found 13 icons dated 19th century. Somebody hid them under the carriage window. The value of the icons is 571 million rubles.

And lately the custom officers were checking the train "Warsaw-St.Petersburg" in Grodno. In the toilets of the carriages they found four icons. Of course the owner didn't show up. The icons were valued at 76 million rubles.
What surprises is that in that case the icons were imported to us from Poland. Usually everything is vice-versa. The owner probably failed to sell them at a good price and decided to take them back.
