Все музыканты - выпускники Королевской академии
музыки, из ибеспеченных семей, что гарантировало
творческую независимость. Первый альбом прошел
незамеченным: традиционными рок-н-ролами тогда
кого-либо удивить было невозможно, хотя и
вокалист и гитарист оставляли очень хорошее
впечатление. Следующий альбом оказался более
удачным: композиция "Littls Boy" и "Goin' Down"
вошли ванглийский хит-парад, а аранжировка
известной песни "House Of The Rising Sun"
продвинулась в верхнюю часть американского
хит-парада. Вместо рок-н-рола группа стала исполнять
весьма выразительные ритм-н-блюзы с четким
гитарным рисунком и выдвинутой на первый план
ритм-секцией. Следующий альбом продолжал
разработку рок-н-рола.На некоторое время музыканты
прекратили совместную деятельность, но ни один из
их сольных проектов не был доведен до конца. В 1980
году B.Johnson получил приглашение от AC / DC на
место погибшего Bona Scotta и группа распалась.

All musicians were graduates of the Royal Academy of
Music, all were from well-to-do families, what guaranteed
their creative independence. Their first album was not
noticed: traditional rock’n’roll was not a surprise for
anybody, though both the singer and the guitarist produced
very good impression. Their second album was more lucky:
compositions ‘Little Boy’ and ‘Goin' Down’ were included
into the British hit-parade, and their arrangement of the
popular song ‘House Of The Rising Sun’ moved into the
upper lines of the American hit-parade.Instead of rock and
roll, the group started playing very expressive rhythm and
blues, with an accented guitar part, and a rhythm group put
to the fore. Their next album was a continuation of their
work on rock and roll. Later the group members stopped
their joint work for some time, but not a single solo roject
was completed. In 1980 B.Johnson was invited by AC/DC
to replace Bon Scott who had died, and the group broke up.
