STAFF

The staff of our enterprise includes experienced engineers, highly-qualified technical staff, and skilled workers of various specialities. In February 1996 the staff of the joint-stock company "MWP" was 6072 persons, of which 387 persons were leaders, 522 persons - specialists, 34 persons - employees, 510 persons were non industrial personnel.

The whole staff of the company has very high educational level. 746 persons have higher technical and economiñ education, 850 persons have a secondary special education, others have complete secondary education. The administrative staff has a high education level. An averade age of workers is 37 years. Minsk Polytechnical Academy, University of national economy, Minsk radiotechnical institute, Minsk polytechnical college, and a specialised professional watch-makers' school are the main suppliers of our personnel.

The plant has its own polyclinic, a canteen, 7 kinderartens and creches, a food shop, a physical culture and health complex, a young pioneer camp, a meat-packing factory, a subsidiary agricultural farm. The enterprise is completely provided with places in the canteen and in pre-shool institutions.

Vladimir Vasilievich Abramchik,

Started his working career as a locksmith

at the Vitebsk Plant producing pats for watces.

Graduated from the Minsk Polytechnical Academy in 1968.

Gradually he grew, first he worked as a supervisor,

then, as a technology engineer, a shop manager,

Deputy Director for Production.

He has been President of the joint-stock company "MWP" since 1993.

His work was highly merited by the Government,

he has orders, medals and other awards.

Stepanof Arkady Pavlovich

General Director of the Joint-stock company,

corresponding member of Byelorussian Scientific

and Industrial Academy.

After finishing the Minsk Polytechnical Academy in Minsk,

Mr. Stepanof has made an exellent career; a foreman of the MNP's automatic

shop, a leader of youth movement in Minsk municipality, a senior foreman of

the platine shop of MWP, the deputy chief of a shop, a shop superintendent, a

deputy director of MWP/ the General Director of the Joint-stock company on

foreing relations, the General Director of the Joint-stock company/. He finished

the former USSR's Academy of National Economy , and he supports contacts

with many foreign partners.

Thoroughness and Pragmatism

It is the motto and creed incarnated in the experience of life.

Ieasily become friends with people. Study of positive qualities and of professionalisme of surroundings are my hobby and a business necessity. I adove to cook by myself and I am known as a tempter of stomachs/ Regaling of friends/ the role of the permanent toast-master are both a hobby and an exellent way of dealing with other people and of rest. Sence of humour easily and fluently turns into irony.

Alexander Georgievich Mitrakovich,

Chief Engineer of the "MWP"

A graduate of the Minsk Polytechnical Academy, he had a good mixed career

- from a supervisor, to a chief shop supervisor, the head of a department at the joint-stock company "MWP". He has good experience in international business relations , as well as in developing new technologies, and in practical implementation of new know-how.

WORD IS BUSINESS.

This is my notion about a business partner. The new in science and technology is also a hobby and passion are

motor-sport, track and field athletics, long-distance events on cross-coutry ski-races; 20 miles is my favourite

distance but I should be able to run more and with pleasure. In common life I am modest and symphathetic, but

on distance I like very much a compertition spirit. Besides gardering and hand-made articles are an indispensable

form of rest and my favourite pastime in the garden and in the country cottage.

Sergey Cergeevich Boiko,

Head of the Foreign Economic

Relations and Marketing Center

Also a graduate of the Minsk Polytechnical Academy (1976),

he began his career as a technology engineer . Later he worked as a

supervisor, a deputy shop supervisor, headed the Control department

( state acceptance department) at the plant, and worked as head of a

department.

Smoking of good varieties of tobacco, a lot of high-quality german and Czech

beer are a good frame of heart-to-heart get together with friends, lovers of

jesting; but I can stir up and make get more reserved people worked up.

I shall easily demonstrate it when meetings certainly, I have some other

favourite pastime too.In all situations of life I preserve my pluck and sound

optimism. I easily become friends with other people, remain true to friendship

for a long time.

Bogdan Izidorovich Garazevich,

Deputy Chief Director for

Commercial Problems and

Foreign Economic Relations

Graduated from a mechanical college in 1968. His career at "MWP" joint-stock company

included work as a team leader, a supervisor, a chief supervisor, deputy shop supervisor, a shop supervisor.

Then he worked as deputy chief director (agricultural matters), and now he is Deputy Chief Director for

Commercial Problems and Foreign Economic Relations.

Sale, trade and supply are not only my official duties but they are not only my favourite pastime.

I am taciturn, but I have a ready tongue. I like humour dealings with friends.

I am ready to bet that the tastiest dish is the Ukrainian borsh with doughnuts.

I don't belong to the tee to taller society like everybody from our team

Vladimir Yevgyenyevich Plaskovich,

Deputy General Director on Economoc Matters

and Head of the Planning Department

Graduated from a machine-building college, also finished The Moscow Trade-Union

Movement Higher School . He worked as a mechanics engineer at "MWP", as a

technologist, used to be a trade union leader, head of a regional laboratory on labor,

worked as head of the Planning Department, and a leading economist. He is Deputy

General Director on Economoc Matters and Head of the Planning Department now.

Possesses good experience of fruitful cooperation with Oriental countries.
