The Concept of Selected Records and Database States

Thanks to VBA LeoBase contains the concept of selected records set which makes the work with a database easier and very convenient. The marked records may appear in the result of searching and "handy" records' marking. The set of selected records is tied up to a concrete database and can be saved on a disk into a special file called the state of database (not only the set of selected records is saved there). The concept easily allows to realize a multiwindow system working with the lists of records.

The possibilities of selected records are determined by VBA possibilities. For example, one can carry out the search with addition/crossing/subtraction of the found records with currently selected records. The same operations can be performed with database states.

Thanks to the LeoBase concept of selected records, the result of search request is all the records satisfying the request, but not only the first one.
